Privacy Policy
Who we are
This policy explains what personal data TodayFiles collects when you visit the site, hold an account or watch a video on our player, and what we do with it.
What we collect
- Account data: your username, e-mail address and a hashed password.
- Payout data: the PayPal, USDT or Bitcoin address you give us when you ask to be paid.
- Content data: the videos you upload, their titles and settings.
- Play data: which video was played, when, from which country and device type, and for how long.
- Network data: the IP address of a viewer, used to apply the one paid play per 24 hours rule and to stop abuse.
- Support data: the messages and files you send in a ticket.
How we use it
- To run the service: sign you in, store and deliver your videos, count plays, calculate earnings and make payouts.
- To keep it safe: detect artificial plays, abuse, fraud and attacks.
- To talk to you about your account, for example password resets and support replies.
We do not sell personal data.
Who we share it with
We use service providers to run the platform, such as a content delivery and security network (Cloudflare), hosting, and the payment provider for the method you choose. They receive only what they need to do that job. We may disclose data when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep account and payout records for as long as the account exists and for the time the law requires afterwards. Play and network logs are kept for a limited period. The exact periods are confirmed before launch.
Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have the right to see, correct, export or delete your data, and to object to some uses. Open a ticket on the support page to ask.
Security
Connections use HTTPS and passwords are stored hashed. No system is perfectly secure, so keep your password and API key private.
