Acceptable Use Policy
Purpose
This policy lists what you may not do on TodayFiles. It applies to uploaders, viewers and anyone who embeds our player.
Content you may not upload
- Content you do not have the right to distribute.
- Sexual content involving minors, or any content that exploits or endangers a child. We report it to the authorities.
- Content that incites violence or hatred against people or groups, or that threatens a person.
- Malware, phishing pages or anything built to harm a device or steal data.
- Content that shows or sells illegal goods or services.
- Someone's private information or intimate images shared without consent.
Behaviour that is not allowed
- Creating artificial plays: bots, scripts, plays paid for or traded, hidden or forced plays, or any method meant to raise your earnings without real viewers.
- Using proxies, VPNs or other tools to make one viewer look like many, or to hide where a viewer is.
- Putting the player in pages that hide it, auto-play it out of sight, or reward people only for clicking.
- Attacking, probing or overloading the service, or trying to get around a limit.
- Sharing an account, an API key or an FTP account with people you do not control.
- Using the player to show pop-ups, redirects or fake buttons.
What happens when the rules are broken
We may remove content, withhold or reverse earnings that came from the breach, suspend or close the account, and report illegal activity. Serious or repeated cases lead to closure without notice.
